PermalinkWhat I've been up to lately and what's on my mind. Updated monthly-ish.
UpdatedAfter thinking it throughout March, I’ve decided not to redesign the site for now. I went through a burst of adding new features, redesigning specific things like search, and refactoring other things randomly when I felt like it. Now I’ve settled down and don’t want to rock the boat anymore for a while, so I’m going to leave the site itself alone and just focus on writing posts.
Speaking of which, I wrote one about how I setup Bazzite. I’ve been daily driving it only for a week so far, but aside from a few quirks that I’ve ignored for now, I’m liking it. For just the regular things like “interneting,” managing emails, developing this site or writing posts for it, I’m liking it a lot. Honestly there’s not much different for me since I’m using KDE Plasma same as I do on my other PC running Debian 13.
I did try to play a game, since Bazzite is gaming-focused and comes with Steam. I ended up playing a campaign of Civilzation V over a few days (for like the thousandth time) and it was fine, but that’s a very old game… I will try a more modern one soon, although the gaming thing is very secondary for me on this machine, since I have a dedicated gaming PC for that.
